I have collected nutcrackers as long as I can remember. It started with a nutcracker that my grandparents had in their house when I was a little girl. It looked just like the nutcracker that Claire dances with in the Nutcracker Ballet. We had The Nutcracker Ballet on VHS and I would watch it every year (still do). When we'd go to my grandparents' house I would dance around their house with it. I usually get one nutcracker per year and at last count I had 43 nutcrackers and counting. It's just not Christmas for me without having them around the house!
The nutcracker I started it all!
One of my most favorite nutcrackers from when I was a little girl.
Some of my themed nutcrackers.
