Happy Halloween!

As a child I was a HUGE fan of Halloween.  Playing dress up + candy + staying up late = AWESOME! Unfortunately, spending a majority of my childhood in Indiana meant that every Halloween costume began with either a turtleneck or a sweat suit.  One Halloween I saw a genie costume that was gorgeous and I wanted to be one soooooo bad. It had flowing material and pretty shiny jewels on it.  Because it's freaking cold by the end of October up there, the flowing material on my costume was the sweat suit material.  I must give my Mom props because she did an awesome job creating it so that I would not FREEZE while Trick-or-Treating.

Since I grown up I have been to a few Halloween parties, but I never get too jazzed up.  I hate the idea of having to purchase and outfit that I will probably only wear once.  Most of my costumes are created from things I have in my closet, like a cowgirl, and my favorite: the football player which consists of sweatpants, one of Eric's old HC jerseys and my tennis shoes.

One thing I have not outgrown when it comes to Halloween is Pumpkin Carving.  I LOVE IT!  Eric and I have had a contest for the past 3 or 4 years.  This year was no different........

So which one do you like better?!?!?  I will let you know who's is who's later this week!
