High Five for Friday v.3

To say this week flew by is an understatement.  Usually 4 day weeks tend to drag (especially ones right before a holiday!) but with everything I had going on this one was over really quick.

Playoff game #2 is tonight.  We are heading a few hours north this evening to play.  I will be heading to watch.....I ex-nayed the idea of riding the "Fan Bus" in favor of taking my car....crowded bus with a bunch of football parents?  No thanks.  I've heard the comments they make while I'm just watching the games, if one were to say something about the coaches on the bus that I did not like, I might lose it.  Plus I like to be able to eat when I want to eat and stop when I want to stop.  =)

It's move-in day in Memphis for my parents!  I know they are relieved to get to this point!  I got the following text from my dad yesterday:
"Finally got your wish... The sellers left their trampoline... Merry Xmas.....Mom & Dad"

As long as I can remember Matt-Matt has wanted a trampoline.  He asked for one every Christmas when we were growing up, but every year Santa was not able to bring one for whatever reason....he said that when he grew up he would get one for his house someday.  Low and behold the people who used to live in the house my parents bought had one and left it when they moved out so my parents have a trampoline in their backyard....too bad Matt-Matt is in college 1,000 miles away from it. Sorry bud!  I will drive up there and jump on it for you!

Glease....I am in the process of rediscovering Glee.  I used to watch it until our satellite company got in a fight with Fox which kept the channel off my television for NEARLY 2 YEARS.  I got over it but I did miss watching Glee.  This season I was able to start watching again and have been loving it!  Last night's episode was the McKinley High students putting on the musical Grease (hence the show title Glease).  It was awesome, the sets looked almost identical to the original Grease sets (with a few modern twists).  I may have been dancing around bedroom and singing at the top of my lung for the majority of the show. =) My only complaint?  The end of the Finale through Rachel's eyes where it was her and Finn playing Danny and Sandy.....Ryder and Marley were sooooo much cuter as Danny and Sandy!

Thanksgivings is next week....holy cow....When did that happen?  That means Christmas is just a month away.  Are my Christmas decorations up yet? Absolutely NOT.  I am an advocate of one holiday at a time. I will play Christmas music non-stop, but not until AFTER Thanksgiving.  Also, if I put up a REAL Christmas tree now it will be firewood by Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas I think I may be about 1/3 of the way done with Christmas presents.  I have not purchased the majority of them but I do know what I am going to purchase/make for the majority of the people I am getting gifts for.  Now if I could just find some time to go get said gifts I'll be good.
