Our weekend got off to a really great start with a nailbiting win by THS in their first round playoff game. We were completely outplayed in the first half offensively, but somehow managed to come back and kick a game winning field goal with 2 minutes left to win the game. To say that it was intense is an understatement. The good news: We get to play again this Friday! The bad news (well not as great news): the game is 2.5 hours away from where we live, but I plan on having my happy purple and gold wearing butt in the stands cheering them on!
Unfortunately the Tide did not fare as well in their game as they were upset by Texas A and M. It was a great game, but Bama was completely out played. At least we had some tasty treats to snack on during the game. I have a new favorite football game dip...Double Bacon Cheese Burger Dip...it's a little slice of heaven in a baking dish.

It was kind of nice having Bama play in the early afternoon instead of having the late game. It gave us a chance to catch up on our sleep....all of us.

This week is going to be a doozie. Thank goodness it's only a 4 day work week. I was off (from my day job) today for Veteran's Day. Since school is out we had basketball practice early today. Our first game is tomorrow, so it was our last chance to get game ready!
