It took Alabama roughly 3 minutes to let the Irish know they were in waaaaay over their heads last night.  And it only got worse for the shiny-topped leprechauns as the night went on.  In case you did not stay up to see the end (there was really no point), the game was an Alabama route with Bama winning 42-14.  Even Hawk said he had enough in the second half......

I think the facebook status updates I saw during the game were more entertaining than the actual game itself. Among my favorites:

"Elephants are legends, Leprechauns are myths."

"Why is everyone is being so hard on the Irish? Notre Dame HS is playing a great game."

Coach Kelly's comments at halftime when asked what they can do in the second half to win the game, "Maybe Alabama doesn't come back out."
